Ezequiel Iván Lavezzi ((:eseˈkjel iˈβan laˈβesi); ; born 3 May 1985) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays for French club Paris Saint-Germain and the Argentina national team as a forward, and in particular, as a winger. He began his career at Estudiantes (BA), and after one season was signed by Genoa, who loaned him to San Lorenzo, where he eventually moved on a permanent basis. In 2007, he was signed by Napoli, and his performances there earned him a €26.5 million move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2012.
Lavezzi made his senior international debut for Argentina in 2007. He was included in their squads which won a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics and came runner-up at both the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the 2015 Copa América.
